August 5, 2020 by Team Journey North
Chuck Henrikson will continue to share his birding reports and observations from the UW-Madison Arboretum (Journey North’s home base) throughout the Fall 2020 migration season. In February 2021, ornithologist Dr. David Aborn returns to share the secrets of weather and spring migration as songbirds sweep across North America.

"The Eastern Bluebirds are about done nesting in the Arboretum nest boxes for this year. Sylvia Marek's report from a couple days ago indicate that 31 have fledged already and a couple more are about to. I've attached a photo of two fledgling Eastern Bluebirds. They are delicately speckled all over. So cute!" Read Chuck's Weekly Birding Report #20.
