Environmental Data Initiative (EDI) is actively promoting and enabling curation and re-use of environmental data. EDI assists researchers from field stations, individual laboratories, and research projects of all sizes to archive and publish their environmental data. EDI is currently funded through grants from the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Division of Biological Infrastructure to the University of New Mexico and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
